"Funny Quote" stamps added to www.StampOutOnline.com

My girls and I were drawn like magnets to an adorable display of all things polka dots while we were at Barns and Noble exchanging some of the "Mac for Dummies" books that were incorrectly purchased. We should have bought the "Buying Mac books for Dummies for Dummies" before we bought the books. LOL! Its quite apparent that my love for polka dots has been passed down a generation. Faith was beside her self with excitement to be able to use her polka dot umbrella today. We had a true moment, I totally understood how she felt. My husband was telling her to put it in her backpack since it wasn't raining yet, WELL...I knew that wasn't going to go over with a bang. Why would she put her super cute polka dot umbrella IN her back pack? That just didn't make sense to either of us, he ended up using a "choose your battle" card and backed down. She got to hold her umbrella outside her backpack "in case" it started to rain while she was walking to class. That makes perfect sense to me!

OH...and check out the website, www.StampOutOnline.com I haven't gotten to all of them but I did get a few of the funny quotes listed on the website. Alli and I are working on an idea for a new giveaway, so stand by......

We WILL figure things out today!!

Today we are going to sit down and figure this whole Mac thing out. I am already so amazed at some of the little things I have seen these machines do. There are shortcuts that are going to make our lives SOO much easier and I already know we are going to say "why didn't we make this switch a long time ago" a million times over.

I cleaned the house, did heaps of laundry and got the kids off to Grammys so that I can dedicate my entire day to my new toy! (Does that make me a dork? HA!) I am even going to go and buy "Mac for Dummies" and Lisa and I will get it figured out...one way or another!

We are super excited about our blog and all that we have coming in the future...we have big plans all, BIG plans. You just wait! We are planning our next giveaway, because don't forget, the current one ends tomorrow at noon, so for all of you that have entered (correctly) a big THANK YOU! It has been so much fun reading all of your funny quotes and trust me, there are times in our day that they are MUCH NEEDED.

Don't forget to visit the website www.stampoutonline.com and see all the goodies there...so many things that make great gifts!!! We are adding new items all the time, so it may be worth your while to even bookmark that site too! :)

Happy Saturday everyone...

My lesson on karma...Sorry Jadeyn.

I’m probably the least judgmental person I know. I truly believe deep in my heart that all people are just doing the best they can with what they have been given. When someone cuts me off I just assume that they have an emergency. If I get cut in front of in line I just figure everything happens for a reason and that person might have saved my life by making me 1 minute later…you get it. WELL…I can think of 2 times in my life when I truly judged. 1. BC (before Children) I saw a drooly baby and told a girlfriend “I WILL NEVER have a baby that drools!” My 9 year old still drools, and I was that mom that always had to wear a diaper cloth over my shoulder because everyone said “UM, he is drooling" Karma upped the anti and he spit up all the time too! One problem I didn’t have with Hunter or Faith was potty training, SO…2. I had a lot to say about a child that would ask for a pull up! “Clearly if they are asking for a pull up you know what they need, set the child on a potty and VOILA, the child will go? Then along came Jadeyn, one of the brightest three year olds (turning 4 in June) that WILL NOT go in a potty!!!!! We were both so stubborn at one point that it became a medical condition. MY CHILD WOULD NOT GO unless I put a diaper or pull up on her. She would go weeks without going (#2) and she was making herself really sick. I was forced to back away from the entire issue trying to re-train her brain AND body that it isn’t yucky or bad to go poo poo, it’s a good thing J . She still struggles and she won’t go, so we have to help her out, she actually reminds me to give her mineral oil every day. She can reasonably discuss any issue with us, school pickup, drop off, play dates, she discusses different activities for each day of the week, what she won’t talk about is going on the potty? When I try to encourage her to go on the potty she refuses, she screams, arches her back so I can’t set her on the potty and I worry that she will regress to NOT going again. I’m not a newbie, I’ve tried everything! M & M’s, prizes at the potty, reading, letting her run around naked, taking things away, telling her that when she can potty then she can have privileges, we have had the pee potty party set up and ready to go “when she did potty” (she never did) She has watched us all go, nothing has even seemed to crack the issue. I believe Karma is kicking my bootie right now. I think I will actually have the world’s first child in America that goes to school in a pull up!

Girls reading this…bite your lip! Learn from me! Don’t judge, or comment on the way anyone else is doing the best they can, because when you least expect it, Karma WILL get you, it has a strong hold on me right now. Sorry Jadeyn.....

The 1st official post from my NEW.........

iMAC!!!!! :)) YIPEE! YIPEE! After a lot of thought and debate between a lot of different parties involved we made the final decision. Its official, www.StampOutOnline.com will NOW be run from Mac computers. WELL...(there always seems to be a well....) you would think we were in the computer business with all the computers around now.  There is going to be a learning curve and while we are learning we have our current PCs and AND iMacs running. As if we didn't spend enough time in front of the computer before now we are in front of two computers each.  The current design software we use isn't Mac compatible, that is a scary thought for me but good news for www.StampOutOnline.com shoppers. It means there will be LOTS of fun new designs to come. I'm SO excited and glad that the decision has been made and we are now in process of the conversion. I'm certain I will LOVE this computer. As we were driving home I told Alli, I think we should design a sign that says "Drive carefully, we have new iMacs on board"
PS..Thank you so much for all the funny quotes they keep us laughing...Be sure you sign up as a follower and enter the contest, we are having so much fun reading all the posts.

To Mac or not to Mac...that IS the question!!!

So...today we spent a few hours at the MAC store. Holy cow, I think we almost died and went to heaven. Colors, matte vs. gloss, everything seemed shiny to us...probably because our eyes were as big as ever. At one time, there were 5 people helping us out, trying to figure out the best shades for our needs! We even had a few calls from friends pissed that we didn't invite them...wondering if we bought them some lip gloss at least. LOL. NO, we were NOT sitting in chairs getting our make-up done...we were looking at new COMPUTERS!!! Seriously, it was like being in a candy shop as a child for the first time. Seeing all the bells and whistles of the way these machines work was nuts. In fact, it almost made me mad. I feel as if we have wasted SO MANY HOURS of our LIVES. But...all I see is how many hours we will be gaining if we do in fact make this transition. You know when you are waiting for that program to load on your computer the little hour glass shows up...thats what I am seeing in my brain...MOBILE ME??? WHAT???? HAHAHA. Well...to our knowledge, as far as this whole Mac world goes, we will never again have to sit and stare as we wait for a file to load, or have to re-open a program multiple times a day.
So...stand by as we decide to learn how to walk all over again and transition over to the Apple side of the world (which is looking pretty bright in our opinion) or be chicken and stay with our boring laptops that continuously crash and burn.
Til tomorrow I hope...

HELLO...hello....is anybody out there? So here we sit...no new friends? Is this really happening? This is new to Alli and I and we are used to having lots of friends wherever we go so we are confussed? We have been up for 24 hours and yet here we sit all alone....well, side by side in reality but alone in the blogging world. My mom joined and so did Alli's husband. Thanks guys! (we almost had my husband Aaron, but then he realized he had to sign up and that was too much trouble) Sooooo quick roll call: so far we have Alli, Myself, My mom, Big Mike aka Allis Husband, oh wait...thats IT? Although we appreciate the support from them, we are baffled by this whole blog world. It's so big, yet we are so small it seems. Please, don't be shy, if you log on here and are reading this post, we beg you to leave us a comment so we know you were here....this is new to us and we are looking to understand it better. Our counter is going up but is it just us checking for comments every 1 minute or is anyone new really viewing this??? FYI, we are cracking up as we type this! LOL! watch out blog world we will figure this out! :)

Our Story

It started out with two girls and their fascination for all things "SUPER CUTE!" The two girls shared a desire to turn their passion for design and creativity into a career. Alli and Lisa have a "We can make that” complex. Between the two girls there has not been a "crafty challenge" they haven’t attempted. They have made just about everything under the sun that they think is "SUPER CUTE!". The girls are on a never ending mission for custom items that will compliment the Stamp and Stationery line they have created and are currently finding success in. In most cases when they venture off for new items they end full circle back to stamps and stationery. There is usually some wine and a lot of laughs included along the way. For example: did you know that to turn a profit "WITH labor included" on a complete set of custom water bottles for an 11 player girls soccer team, the price would need to be $1,737.86 for the complete set. Don't Laugh! With that you get a Custom team colored water bottle with a coordinating bow, each bottle with the players name and number. (Thanks to Alli, Lisa was ready to scratch the number altogether! LOL) Don't tell either one of these girls that something can't be done…they find great pleasure in proving that theory wrong!

We have seen some "SUPER CUTE" Blogs and of course…you guessed it! "We can do that too!" SO, off we are on yet another adventure, only this one we invite you to share in the fun and good times. We laugh about having the only blog around that we are going to actually admit that we have husbands that are not so supportive of our obsession and feel we could be much more productive cooking dinner or cleaning the house.

We look forward to sharing with you more about us and learning about you along the way. Where we end up is yet to be determined....

Quick Stats: Between Alli and Lisa: 2 Boys, 3 girls, 2 husbands and 2 yappy dogs.
